Editing a deal & write-back

What happens when you save depends on one workspace-level decision: which system holds the record.

The edit sheet

The pencil on the Details card opens the edit sheet. Synced fields — stage, amount, close date, probability — sit above a sync to CRM toggle. App-local fields (SE status, tags, internal note) sit below and never touch the CRM.

If your CRM is the system of record

Saving with the toggle on creates a pending edit and queues a write-back task. The deal shows a PENDING SYNC pill until the CRM confirms, and a toast confirms the local save immediately. Nothing is lost if the CRM is briefly unreachable — the queue retries.

If OppFlow is the system of record

The record is simply editable here, there is no write-back, and CRM views say so plainly rather than showing a synced banner that would not be true.

Known limit
Logged calls are not written back to an external CRM. The Log call sheet says so, and states what actually happens in your configuration.
