Glossary

Terms that mean something specific in OppFlow, where the everyday reading would mislead.

People and access

Sales role
What someone does — AE, SE, Manager, Head of Sales or Read only. Independent of what they may configure.
Admin
A capability, not a role. A separate grant that unlocks App Settings and leaves the sales role untouched. Shown as its own pill.
Head of Sales
Singular per workspace. Any region or sub-region without a manager rolls up to them, and they cannot be released while territories still do.
Region tag
What someone can see. Hierarchical: a tag of West also sees West · California. Empty means everything.
Membership
The record that grants access to a workspace. Suspending one frees a billed seat without deleting the person.

Deals and data

System of record
Which CRM owns the truth. Connecting a CRM and making it the system of record are two separate acts.
Write-back
An edit to a CRM-owned field is queued and applied to the CRM asynchronously, then reflected here — never changed only locally.
App-local field
SE status, tags and the internal note. Yours, editable freely, and never sent to the CRM.
Health score
A weighted blend of the product-usage metrics an admin opted into scoring. Below 75 counts as at risk.
Call note
A Gong call summary stored as a note. Read-only, dated by when the call happened, and filed under the Calls tab.
Coverage
The relationship map's four-row checklist: a champion, an economic buyer, a decision maker, and no blocker.

Marvin

Marvin's read
The short statement on a deal, composed from the deal's own signals. Not a model call, and always available.
Deal analysis
The grounded model output — momentum, risks, next steps — cached on the deal with the date it was produced.
Tool chips
The row above an answer naming what Marvin actually looked at. The evidence trail; check it first when an answer looks wrong.
Play
A trigger plus a checklist of steps. It surfaces work and drafts a starting point; it does not execute anything on your behalf.
